My first ever arch for a swap run by Carol on Zuzu'z forum. Not totally sure about this, thought it looked to empty so kept adding to it and it still looks as if its lacking to me - answers on a postcard please :-)

An Altered Tin

I made this for Zuzu for her birthday. Its a Marks and Spencer mint tin. I got a few 10 second studio bits recently with the thought of using them for tin lids and the like. This is my first attempt as lazyKay will know I have struggled with the 10 second stuff and she has been very helpful with hints and tips.

I embossed a cover for the lid and then attached it and then inked it with alcohol inks. It is designed to be a match tin as matches just fit into it nicely and I know Z loves her open fire.

Again as you can see my photographic skills are 2nd to none LOL

Watchmakers Tin

I was given a set of these by Cath at Katyscorner, So I arranged a swap with them on Zuzu's Forum. I had never done one before and I must admit I found it harder than I originally thought it would be. I used alcohol inks on the outside, an image in the bottom and then various bits and pieces I had laying around. I used a rub on on the glass lid to try and give it some depth.

I think these are something I need to work on.

It is an exceptionally bad photo of it as it is extremely blurry (my photo skills are practically zero).

Charm Swap

These were the first things I had made for ages. I hosted a charm swap on Zuzu's forum and these were mine for the swap. I made 12 for the swap, 3 of each design. They are die cut letters dipped in a melt pot and stamped into and then antiquated with more green embossing powder.

The gold twirly things with beads I made from scraps of stuff and the little sayings attached are made with shrink plastic. The letters used correspond to the sayings.

A page for Mandy

Zuzu organised a book for Mandy's 40th (Shhhhhh). You made a page and sent it to Zuzu for to be put into book form. This was my page for Mandy. I wanted to do something that incorporated her 2 beautiful daughters as I know how much Mandy loves them so it was only fitting they should be there on my page for her. This is what I came up with.
