School Canvas

For the Mixed Media Monday challenge. A canvas, the background is tissue paper and acrylics with no more nails and embossing powder then a bit of gold wax over the top. It is actually very Red and not the pinkey shade it looks in the picture.

This is actually a try out for a lay out for a poject I have in mind, so I choose these pictures as they are the same size and style as the one for my project.

You Hold My Heart

A CD for a Forum Challenge and it also fits in very nicely with the Mixed Media theme this week which is love and Romance. The Forum challenge was use only blue and green and use a flower on it somewhere and I love altering CD's so I chose to alter a CD.
Its done on Photo paper with Alcohol inks then over stamped and embossed for the background. The heart and swirl are grunge board inked and textured with a Texture Hammer and the words on the heart say "You Hold My Heart". the scrap is coloured with Alcohol inks.
The Square bit on the end of the dangly is a plastic square fragment coloured with alcohol inks to match the CD with a hole punched in it.

In The Frame

for the Arty girlz blog challenge this week. I did this recently when I was messing around with some left over images from a collage sheet and some odd left overs on my desk.

Theme Thursday Triangle

My triangle for Theme Thursday this week. I only started to do triangles recently and I quite like it as a shape to work on so this was a great theme for me.
The background is done on canvas with acrylic and tissue paper then inked and embossed. The wings are cut from plain Grunge board and embossed into and then inked and spritzed. The edges are embossed by dipping into my melt pot. Then just an image and a charm to finish it off.
