What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 153

As you can see from the photo's this week I am working in organised chaos. I have had to remove a couple of half done items from my desk for the photo's as they are things I cannot share on my blog. I must admit they were the more interesting looking items and now my desk just looks a bit basic and boring.

On the Window sill you can see a half finished project that is for the Unruly Papercrafts Blogzine, I have done the basics and now it needs copious amounts of fusible film, beads etc thrown at it to make it look interesting.

The pile of little boxes are really just where I was trying out some stamps on things and different paints, to see how the ink was on the painted surface, as some paints seems to suck in the colour of the ink and it disappears, not for anything in particular really. I will probably just finish them off an put them in my folksy shop at some time.

You can also see in the back of the 2nd photo a little flame gun ( I have not idea what it's proper name is) My friend Julie sent me this and I have now found the lighter fluid so I am really looking forward to using this on some metal, so it's left out to remind me to make time to have a play with it.

Off now to have a wonder round the other desks. Thank you to Julie for organising WOYWW.

What I like best Ginger, is that you have lots of things you've tried out, will try out etc. and that's the sign of a creative muse at work! Nice to see!*smiles* Norma

Flame gun?? Don't forget to put goggles on (no I'm not kidding) - best to be safe. I love your desk, it looks so inviting and love the TH butterfly stamp at the front. Thanks for the snoop. Anne #2

Funny thing about paint and ink..no idea why one absorbs the other but you're so right....only good for faded elegant type pieces in some cases! You can get some nice effects by heating the foils, but they have to have copper in them to make any colour changes. Get wooden pegs...foil stays hot for WAAAAAAY longer than you'd think!!
