Stampotique Design Team Call

Unless you have been living under a rock the last couple of weeks you must have heard that one of the coolest stamp companies in the crafting world have a design team call out. I have been extremely proud to have been part of the team for the last year and this post includes my re-application to remain on the team. To see the full details of the Design Team call check out this Blog Post

I have been thinking about my application and what to make for it, but I keep coming back to some of my favourite projects from the last year, so I have decided to use some these in my post for my application.

Moth Fab has become one of my favourite stamps of all time so it is only fitting that she should feature in my post.

She is used on this set of children's blocks that can be turned to mix and match the body parts. This actually features four on my favourite Stampotique girls on it, Moth Fab, Perl, Minky Girl and Prom Queen.

A Grunge paper hat featuring Mad Hatter, Rabbit and Steampunk Border

and to finish a selection of tags using mainly images from the latest release.

I have to say in my re-application what my style is and I must admit over the last year or so I have got into a lot more brighter colours than I used to use. I was never a pink girl before I met Moth fab, and I have also started to journal a lot and I now teach a regular monthly class that I thoroughly enjoy doing. so I would say that my style is now bright and zingy but still with that touch of grunge that stops it being cutesy and I must say that Stampotique suits that style perfectly.

Also why do I want to (re)apply, can I say that if I am not on Stampotique I would cry, I suppose not so all I can really say is that, I love the company, all the team are so supportive and to be honest I have been on lots of design teams in the past and I can honestly say hand on heart that this is the best team to be on, it does really feel like a family, and whoever is lucky enough to be on it for the next term, will have the best ride of their crafting journey. I would like to wish everyone who (re)applies the best of luck and I just hope I am one of the lucky ones.

Carol x
