Mixed Up Magazine - A Blog Hop

Hello Everyone and I hope you are enjoying meeting the Mixed Up Design Team!
Welcome to my blog.
As you know, each of us is sharing our favourite makes for Mixed Up today, and the project I’ve chosen to share with you is a voodoo doll I made using a digi Image available from OwlNique on Etsy.
I resized the digi download to the size I wanted and then printed it onto printable fabric then it was eazy peazy to cut it out and stitch it together.
I made my stitching very scruffy around the edge as I felt this would add to the charm of my little doll. I replicated some of the printed elements of the doll with embellishments, adding a button over the printed eye, making a proper skull pin using small charms to replace the printed one and highlighting the heart with red stickles.

I’m also showing a sneak peek of something else I’ve got coming up next month in June.

The Mixed Up website has tons of mixed media projects, including these and many more! If you want to know more pop on over to the website using the link below to join. https://members.mixedupmag.com/join/mum/10/
