Grungepaper Ipod Case

My Daughter Saw this on Nicks Blog and asked me to make her one. I adapted it slightly from Nicks design as hers was for an Iphone. But I can take no credit for the design of it as it is hopelssly lifted from her Blog and she very kindly said it was OK for me to Blog it.
Its made of Grunge paper which I have painted with Acrylics and then spritzed with glimmer mists and finally a bit of a pattern stamped on it, before running it though a die cutting machine with a cuttlebug embossing plate to give it texture. Its then joined together with eyelets and a magnetic closure.

A Wedding

An online friend from Zuzus Petals got married recently and we all got together to do her a book. We all had to do a page and I did mine on the theme of love. The background is inked and and glimmer misted and then inked just a bit more for luck, LOL. I love these wings and use them whenever I can, so of course I had to use them. The swirls are stamped and them highlighted with white pen, I used glossy accents on the words. The Pages were them posted to Lottie who bound them all up into a nice book for Gillian
I wish Gillian and her husband every happiness for their life together

January Tag

The theme was Innocence of childhood, and I liked this image as she just looks so pleased with her big lollipop and I fancied a change from my normal colours. Its just inked and stamped with a bit of acrylic chucked on for good measure.

Inchie Holder

I have quite got into inches lately and really enjoy swapping them. But I do hate just stuffing them into a little bag or envelope to post off to the swap hostess. So last night I came up with this, an Inchie Holder. I Also hope the swap hostess will find it usefull to store her own set in until she decides what to do with them.
I used a couple of card off cuts and some vellum cut into strips and just used distress inks to colour it. The front is stamped to fall in with the Inchie theme.

I like the way I can adapt it to use for larger swaps too.
The first photo shows how the Inches sit in the case and the second is just the front of it.

Mandy's Tag challenge

Mandy sent several of us a set of stamped images to see what we came up with for them. These are mine. The backgrounds are done with a combination of Papers, Gesso and Distress Inks.I found this quite hard to do as they were not my normal type of image to use and they were very small.
