Bee Boxes

I found a few of these hexagonal shaped boxes in my stash over the weekend, I did not think I had any left so I was quite happy to find them. I always think of Bees for this shape box and I have used a selection of the Jo Capper-Sandon stamps from available from Stampotique to decorate them.

I have now put these up for sale on my Folksy shop.

Thank you for your visit today, Carol X

Alice In Wonderland Box

This is my make for That's Crafty this week. Altered using some lovely rubber stamps and lots of paint and ink. Full details can be seen on the blog HERE.

This is listed for sale on my Folksy Shop along with lots of other Alice Items. Alice now has a whole section to herself as I love the theme so much.

Thanks for your visit today. Carol x

Alter your cheese boxes

Do you ever look at the cheese box when you have eaten the cheese. I save mine to alter and I don't have enough so I buy new ones too. This is what I have done with one of them recently.

I love the set of stamps from Crafty Individuals that I have used round the sides of it, adding holly round the rim of the lid.

Using the snowflake stamp and greeting on the lid.

Finishing it all off with a Tim Holtz Rosette topped with a shrink plastic circle that has the Santa over the rooftops on it which has the same houses but smaller as I used on the side of the box.

All the stamps are from Crafty Individuals and can be found on their site HERE.

A Folksy Thank you

As some of you know I have a little Folksy shop where I sell the things that I make, I mostly sell samples, and demo pieces, Earlier in the year I demo'd the Paperartsy Fresco paints and I had loads of crackled boxes, which I have now decorated and put for sale. I also sell things that I just enjoy making and it does help to keep my house un-cluttered.

I was very pleased this morning to see that I have made the folksy to 40 this morning and as it is due to all my lovely customers, many of whom I know have found me via my blog, so I would just like to say thank you for helping me to make my little Folsky shop a success.

I do appreciate all the visits to my blog and the comments that people leave. Carol x

Witches Casket

A little box I have altered. I have done image transfer for the text so it is back to front and looks like a witches spell. I have just realised it is text from an old Alice in wonderland book and its a page about the Mad Hatter, soooo if its about the hatter and its backwards, if its read out loud will it bring the Mad Hatter to life... In Johnny Depp form of course, if you don't see me for a while you know it worked :)

Thanks for looking, Carol x
