Stampotique Challenge: Scrap It

This week on the Stampotique Designers Challenge blog The theme of "Scrap it" has been chosen by Jo Capper-Sandon, and she has challenged you to use your favourite Photographs alongside your rubber stamps.

As a non scrapper I did feel a fear washing over me when I saw the word scrap in the title, But this challenge theme can incorporate your photographs in anyway possible. either on a page, inside a journal, on a canvas, a mini book, an altered item, anything you wish, just so long as you are using stamping somewhere too.

If you are a natural scrapper, this theme couldn't be better and if you are not make it work for you anyway you wish.

I have use a photograph of my daughter and sat her on the Great Moon and I have given her the wings from The large tree topper. On my background I have used the Large Star from the Text Stars, which I stamped directly onto the canvas and then coloured with acrylic paint. Somewhere underneath all that gesso and paint there is the Text Block #3 stamp. I stamped my quote using the Alpabitties Alphabet.

You can now use any stamps for the Challenges, but only one entry per person. Two random winners will be chosen in the first week of October from all the people that played along with the September challenges and they will win a $30 voucher to spend on Stampotique rubber. So make sure you go over to the Stampotique Designers Challenge Blog to enter.

Stampotique Rubber Stamps are available to buy from Stampotique originals, and in the UK you can buy them from Happy Daze.

Thank you for visiting, Carol x

This is great, Carol! Is your daughter enjoying her wings? That made me smile about being a non-scrapper as I am the same,
