Getting Rusty

This is a necklace that I made with small shrine. that I have altered with rusty colours and then punked up.

The base Necklace for this is a rusty key that Zuzu gave me.

Rust is the theme on Alter it Monthly in September. and rather fittingly our sponsor is the Vintage Supply Co. lots of amazing unique vintage items to be found there and really reasonable shipping costs to the UK. Just as well as we at alter it monthly are regular customers.
For a chance to win a voucher to spend in this Aladdin's cave of alterable items and items to add to altered art, all you have to do is alter an item on the theme of rust. It can be a rusty metal object, a new object you rust up yourself, items using the colour rust or maybe use the paper rusting technique to give an item a rusty theme, then share it with us at Alter it monthly.

Both of my examples are listed for sale in my Folksy shop.

I have added the top piece to me "Folksy Friday" Post... Hope thats ok.. lots of folksy shop owners blog some items you can find for sale in folksy that they like. Picking a theme and showcasing it on a friday in their blogs, with OTHER peoples "for sale" items. Its to help promote Folksy. Im not sure i will be doing it every friday, but i will do it now and then...
