Doll Project: Ongoing for the Altered element.
I was browsing the shop site and I came across the fabric section. As soon as I saw the Calico I wanted to do a doll. So I sat down and did a basic doll pattern, then I Inked and stamped my fabric prior to cutting it, with Distress ink then stamped my images in Archival ink. I then cut, and stitched it together. The little steam punk Heart is based on one of the larger hearts in this rusty metal shape set with odd cogs a game spinner and some beadazzels added. The little key is embedded in the side of the doll to try and give a clockwork effect.
I will be completing this at a later stage and I will blog it further then.
If anyone has any questions about this at all please email me.

What a completely original way to make a doll.
I can imagine that she is going to be so stunning.
It's wonderful to see the different stages of a creation - you don't often get to see than on blogs.
