Free As A Bird

Crafty individuals have a new challenge this month. The full details of it are listed on Jean's Blog. The Theme is Free As A bird and there is a great prize.
I have used a couple of their new plates on these two Birdy Bits.

The little notebook has used CI-309 as the main image and elements from CI-308 as well as one of the "must have" birds.

The peacock boxed canvas has used the lovely new plate CI-310 and has been inked and coloured to within half an inch of its life to give it a faded vintage look.
I boxed the canvas in with wood and then coloured it with viva croco, adding beads and embossing powders to give it texture.
Finishing off with a Maya road crown and some fusible crystalina fibres. All the stamps are available from Crafty Individuals website. The fusible fibres and viva croco are available from Happy Daze.

Hi
I follow your artwork at Crafty Individuals, Happy Daze and have visited but never left a comment - about time I changed that LOL
These are stunning.
The peacock stamp is a recent purchase of mine. My hands are Peacock Green at the moment all because of this stamp!
