Take the pledge in 2012

Fran "The Lady of Lost Times" has set a challenge on her blog to cut craft spending. To use the items you already own, recycle and reuse instead of buying. I already use recycled things a lot and I am an avid charity shop rummager, even a spot of skip diving is not out of the question for that bird cage sitting at the bottom of the skip, but even so I still spend too much, so I pledge this year to cut my craft spending even further.

I'm in the UIU too! Can't wait to see what comes from your stash and trash!
I definately will get some hard moments but I'm strong and willing right now to make a dent in my stash! :)

I've joined up too - it's gonna be really tough.
Only done two days and I've been tempted to buy things twice already - eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek we've gotta support each other.

Hi Ginger, I've just popped over from Fran's blog to try to introduce myself to other UIU pledge takers. Love that brooch. Looking forward to see what else you make hugs Karen x

Hello, found your blog through folksy friday.
in 2011 my new year resolution was i couldnt buy any new craft items until i had used something old from my stash.
(I tend to save alot). It was amazing and really enjoyed it.
I am continuing it this year. I actually used more and brought less.
