More Altered Pocket Watches

I have spent the last few days finishing of some projects that I have had on my desk since before christmas. I need to tidy my room up as I have to take some photo's of it and it looks a bit of a bomb site at the moment, so I decided step one, finish things off. Step two stuff the rest in draws. ROFL.

Anyway these were on the corner of my long desk needing finishing and here they are. I have used Ice Resin on these. Doing several layers so you get a lovely three dimensional effect and lots of depth with them.

The Captured fairy and the Paris one are authentic vintage pocket watch cases. I was lucky enough to pick up another box of these on my recent visit to the man I know in the next village who is a clock maker and now he saves me all his old bits and pieces and broken things that cannot be mended. The butterfly one, is one of the cast pocket watches I got.

I will be popping them all onto my Folksy shop in the next few days.

With the recent boxes I have finished off and these it's now looking a bit tidier, but still lots more to do, and a couple of bigger projects to finish off.

These are even more luscious in real life - I know I have the one in the post below!

I said to my husband, 'Would you like to buy me a Valentines present?'

He said, 'Yes of course' so I told that that was could as I had just ordered it - and he handed over the money.

I wore it today and it looks lovely and knowing it's original makes it even more special.

Thank you so much Ginger - you have a true gift
