Depths of Distress

What a great title for a challenge theme, and this is exactly what it is over on Simon says Stamp and show this week.
For the challenge I have made this little Memory Glass Hanger. I stamped the image and then coloured it using alcohol inks in the fillable pens, then placed it into the memory frame. I filled the frame with clear distress crackle. When it was dry I lightly applied some butterscotch alcohol ink to age it slightly.
The frame and fleur-de-lys are aged using vintage photo distress powder.
I added the swivel clasp to the top and then decide to drill a small hole in the top corner to put a brad into so it I dangle a philosophy tag from it.

To see the challenge have a look on the Simon Say's stamp blog .

I wondered about filing a space with Clear distress crackle. I find it cracks off non porous surfaces...This looks great.
