Stampotique Designers Challenge #84 - In The Mood For Love

On the Stampotique designers challenge this week it's my turn to choose the theme. I thought with February just around the corner it would be nice to get us all in the mood and share our love themed makes. These don't have to be with a romantic aspect, you could just celebrate that friendship you have with some one who always brightens your day just by seeing them. Or share your love of a technique, or just share your love of all things Stampotique, of course you can go full out love and romance. It is entirely up to you how you want to interpret the theme. Just make something gorgeous and share it on the Challenge Blog.

I picked up a stack of these hearts in a clearance sale after christmas so I have altered one this week. The background has been inked and painted, has had some texture paste added and then some Treasure Gold to finish it off.

My background images were stamped directly onto the background and then painted. I did stamp the image to and paint it but it looked a bit lost so I re-stamped it onto some card and layered it onto the background which looks a lot better. I added a computer generated quote.

I used the Stamps

Giant Shroom
Rainy Day
Mushroom Group
Daniel's Hearts

You can now use any stamps for the Challenges, but only one entry per person for each challenge. Two lucky people will be drawn from all the challenges for January who will win a $30 voucher to spend on Stampotique rubber. So make sure you go over to the Stampotique Designers Challenge Blog to enter.

Stampotique Rubber Stamps are available to buy from Stampotique originals, and in the UK you can buy them from Happy Daze.

Thank you for visiting, Carol x
