It's bows for Stampotique this week

Jackie is the hostess with the mostest for Stampotique this week. She has chosen the theme of Bows for us this week. This is what she has to say about her theme.

"Ribbons have been around since the Middle Ages. Merchants travelled the world, buying and selling ribbon, many of which had gold and silver in the silk. ribbons were a sign of nobility and worn only by the rich. By the seventh century ribbon was part of the fashion industry and was part of clothing.

Today ribbon has numerous uses, and it is a favourite crafting accessory, I have lots of it!

You can make fabulous bows with it to adorn your cards, scrapbook page, tags, journals etc.

So I would like to see you adding a bow to your project, if you don't have ribbons, bows can be made out of many mediums such as paper, clay, string to name but a few!

I looking forward to seeing your creations with a bow!"

I have made a little gift box this week, using France's lovely journal page over a Gelli plate background. Adding a couple of tags and Hazell and a butterfly in shink plastic. Hazell has a jump ring on the top of the shrink plastic tag so it can be used on a keyring or hung onto a bag.

I used the following stamps

The full details of the Challenge for the month can be seen HERE.

Stampotique Rubber Stamps are available to buy from Stampotique originals .

I hope you get a chance to join in this week, Carol x
