Quick and Easy Christmas Cards Day 7

I used the following stamps

Winter
Baby, it's cold outside!

It's quick and easy Christmas cards this week for the Stampotique Challenge this week.

I have decided to make and blog a card a day for this challenge all this week until the next challenge starts. (are you getting the clue here that I have made no cards at all!!)
All my cards will take no longer than 15 minutes to make. (not including thinking time) Today's card looks like it took ages, but because there is no colouring on the image it is only about a 10 minute card once you have your tag blank cut.

I cut my card blank on my bigshot and then stamped my main image directly in black archival ink. I then masked this off with a previously cut mask (I keep all my stamped/cut masks to use again as I hate cutting them out in the first place).

I added my rub on before I  inked my tag with distress ink as the rub on resists the ink a little bit and you get a nice effect with it. I added my snowflakes with gesso applied with a sponge through a mask. My favorite snowflake mask this year is the Dinky one from That's Crafty.

I stamped my quote with black ink and edged it with a black pen.

I finished with some machine stitching and stuck a few sequins on to match the red glittered heart on the image.

Full details of the Challenge this week, how to enter and the prize can been seen HERE.

Enjoy the challenge this week.

Happy crafting, Carol xx
