Visible Image Debut

I used the Following Stamps

Woo Hoo it's my Debut post for Visible Image today. I wanted to used their iconic stamp of the Eye for my post, this seems to be their trademark stamp and I hope I have done it justice on the following card.

My card is done journal style with a clean and simple feel to it.

I stamped my image and quote directly onto my card blank using black archival ink, I then masked off the eye area leaving the surrounding splatter unmasked.

I then used a dot Stencil with a random dot pattern and applied 3 shades of DecoArt Mulit surface paint using a piece of cut and dry to mix the colours as I went to give various shades from the 3 colours.

I then picked out 3 similer colours from my Caran d'Ache pencils to colour the center of the eye again layering the colours to achieve different shades.

I finished with my must doodle border of the moment.

This is a larger size card to which I usually make but I felt the eye needed plenty of white space to dominate.

I want to say again thank you to Mark and Helen for letting me join the team at Visible Image.

Happy Crafting
Carol xx
