SDC137 Textured Backgrounds - A bit of a Dolly

The theme at Stampotique Designers Challenge this week has been chosen by Kay, and she has asked us to show some Texture this week.

I had some felt scraps in a bag from another project I had done recently so I decided to use a piece of that. I cut my dress shape and then felted it on a pad until it was fat and fluffy, to add a bit more texture to it I stamped onto it with the elements from Design cube by France, using paint and texture paste. I added ribbon legs, a head and crown. finishing it with a pin on the back to attach it to my bag.

I Used the following Stamps

Gibi
Design Cube
Crown

Stampotique Rubber Stamps are available to buy from Stampotique originals .

The full details of the Challenge can be seen HERE. I hope you get a chance to join in this month.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your day, Carol Xx

I absolutely love this unique doll, Sue! You have given Gibi life and she is off on an adventure with you! A very clever "make" with, indeed, lots of texture!

Oh my goodness, what a cute little pin and a great idea to make her dress from felt. Darling!! I think the whole design team should have one of these haha!!

Gibi makes a fabulous doll! I love that you made her awarm and fluffy outfit and gave her a pin so she can adorn your bag. Or your scarf. Or your coat.
