PaperArtsy 3Up

I was thrilled when I was chosen to be part of the PaperArtsy 3Up team for this July. Full details of this can be seen on the PaperArtsy Blog.

I have been a fan of their products for many years and theirs were some of the first stamps I got when I first started to rubber stamp

This is the rather lovely stash I was sent to play with, look at that  yumminess.

This is what I added from my own Stash to use.

I decided to alter the  chipboard coasters in the above photo that I brought, they came in a pack of five and I wanted to do three so that gave me two for mistakes. I do like to alter coasters as they are so adaptable, I send them instead of Birthday Cards, or turn them into bunting or little books, and these one are nice and thick so they were perfect for my Gelli Plate.

I started by doing a background using my Gelli Plate and how I did this can been seen in the following video.

Once I had my background I added my stamped images, again how I did this can be seen in the following video.

I now coloured my images using a selection of coloured pencils. This is the first time I had used my pencils directly over the top of  Fresco Paint and I must admit I was mega delighted with how the colour laid down and blended over the paint.

I added a coat of Satin Glaze and this gave the colours just a little bit more pop, finishing them off by highlighting the text and words with Glossy Accents.

Thank you for visiting my blog and I hope you enjoy the 3UP Week at Paperartsy.
