It's a Giraffe for Paperartsy

Well I did get a tad excited when I saw this release from PaperArtsy contained a Giraffe. I love them, they seem such an impossible creature with the long legs and necks.

So of course  I had to  use the set of stamps as soon as I go them and this is the result a bag for my knitting with matching stitch markers.

Full details can be seen on the PaperArtsy Blog.

Gelli Bunny SDC 202

It's Wednesday so that means the new challenge starts today on the  Stampotique challenge blog.

We have been asked by Corrie this week to include some ribbon on our project, I have added this as ribbon to the neck of my bunny.

I recently brought a book on hand made toys, and as you can resize all the patterns in the book to just the size you want I decided to make on for this challenge.

I printed my basic white fabric using my Gelli Plate and DecoArt Paints and I then added lots of stamping to add pattern to it.

I added stamping to my ribbon bow using Daniel's Hearts.

I added stickles to the heart element of Roc's Flying Heart.

The full details of the Challenge can be seen HERE. Including details of how to link your items for the challenge and be in with a change to win a $30 voucher to spend on Stampotique Rubber stamps.

Stampotique Rubber Stamps are available to buy directly from Stampotique originals and other on-line shops.

Stampotique designers Challenge 116 - A new Technique

This week on the Stampotique Designers Blog the challenge is to try a new technique. I have not exactly got a new technique, but I have combined two techniques in a way that I have never tried before.
I have created a fabric background using felting techniques, die cut felt shapes and some paint splatters. I stamped Heart Throb onto velum, that I then cut out and stitched to my felted background. I now decided to add some hand painted hearts to tie in with my image and finished the whole thing off with a bit bit of hand stitching. I did little felt tabs at the top for hanging.

I used

Heart Throb

You can now use any stamps for the Challenges, but only one entry per person for each challenge. Two lucky people will be drawn from all the challenges for Setember who will win a $30 voucher to spend on Stampotique rubber. So make sure you go over to the Stampotique Designers Challenge Blog to enter.

Stampotique Rubber Stamps are available to buy from Stampotique originals, and in the UK you can buy them from A sprinkle of imaginataion.

One lucky person who commented on my Blog Hop post has won a little bundle of new release goodies. Kim randomly choose

Annika  and she said...
Love the background of the tag, nice layers in there :) The image is amazing! Your bird-day card is stunning, hugs Annika

So if you would like to contact Kim on,   khowardga@gmail.com with Stampotique new release winner in subject line, she will arrange it all for you.
