Presentation Boxes

This week for Bubbly Funk I have made a really quick and easy little box. I sometimes find it very relaxing to make nice easy little projects that are quick to make, as its good sometimes to look back over an evening of crafting and see lots of completed projects. If I could make cards I would do them, but as my cards suck I stick to these instead. To see all the details look on the Bubbly Funk Blog HERE.

Steampunked Dog Tag

I have got back into my jewellery making lately, so for my Bubbly Funk Piece this week I have altered a Metal Everlasting Keepsake dog tag, using Tim Holtz cogs and game spinner and reclaimed pocket watch items.
I must admit, I have had these for ages and not being a scrapper I was a bit lost as to what to do with them, but when I was poking in my Bubbly Funk Stash draw I came across them and inspirations struck. They are american GI sized tags and are a really nice sturdy metal so they work really well as the basis for a pendant.

A Different View

I have used this stamp before on Domino Pendant. But I was asked on my shop for it in a different colour and this is the result. I quite like the way it looks in the cream and black it has a nice vintage look about it, so I thought I would share it as my Bubbly Funk Piece this week. To see all the details of it look Here on the blog.

Getting Distressed

This is the theme on Simon Says Stamp And Show this week. I have made this note pad using vintage music paper that has been further aged with distress ink. The chipboard wording has been distressed using inks and the new distress stains and then a coat of embossing powder sparingly applied to give it an even more aged look.
The edges have been inked up in gold using a dabber. A swirl stamped in distress ink finishes it off.

Bluebird of Happiness

If the birds happy I have no idea, but I am exceptionally happy this week, good news, good vibes and sunshine. My Bubbly Funk piece this week happens to be blue I am linking it to the challenge on Sunday Stamper. To check out the materials used on this have a look on the Bubbly Funk Blog.

One Little Bird

Bubbly Funk Day Today and this week I set myself a challenge to only use things I already had on my desk (its lucky I don’t tidy up much )I brought 2 of these for 50p in a charity shop just after Christmas and I altered the 1st one early last month and the 2nd was still sitting in the corner of the desk so this was the object to alter. All the other items were still out from recent projects or in a big plastic jar that sits on my desk and all the left over odds and sods get put in it until its full up and then they all get put away.
If you want to see the details about how it was made have a look on the Bubbly Funk Blog
